eLstar Showcases Smart Glass Innovation at The Architecture of Transparency
eLstar Dynamics is exhibiting at The Architecture of Transparency, a free exhibition running from 1 to 31 July 2026 at The Building Centre in London. The show brings together glass manufacturers, architects, and engineers to explore how glazing is shaping the future of the built environment.
What eLstar Is Showcasing
eLstar is presenting two parts of its smart glass portfolio:
ELM (Electrophoretic Light Modulator) technology, the dynamic glazing platform behind eclipse™ smart glass [LINK: Technology page – ELM overview]
Next-generation PDLC smart films, in three variants: Black Dye, Grey Dye, and Ultra High Transparency
The goal is to show how these technologies let architects design spaces that are cleaner, more adaptive, and more human-centered, by changing how glass responds to light, privacy, and use.
About the Exhibition
The Architecture of Transparency looks at how advances in glass technology, materials, and manufacturing are turning windows and glazing into core drivers of architectural design, performance, and sustainability. It covers projects across London that balance openness with privacy and innovation with sustainability, including both retrofit and new-build performance.
eLstar exhibits alongside manufacturers including GenVue, Kuraray, REHAU Group, Senior Architectural Systems, SCHOTT, Vacuum Glazing UK, and Ventrolla, with support from architecture practices such as Allies and Morrison, Foster + Partners, Heatherwick Studio, and WilkinsonEyre.
The Building Centre is also running RIBA-approved CPD sessions and talks through July, including sessions on heritage glazing and a talk from Heatherwick Studio on the transformation of Olympia London.
The exhibition is a chance to see dynamic glazing and smart film technologies in person, alongside other glass innovations shaping the sector. It’s a relevant stop for anyone specifying glazing on projects where light control, privacy, and sustainability need to work together.
